Everyone remembers Steve-O and the crazy antics he and the crew did on MTV’s now-defunct Jackass and Wildboyz. From the Alligator tightrope walk to the time he went extreme ice skating, the daring stunt performer narrowly escaped death several times, all before the age of 43.
Anyone who watched Jackass can attest to how many times he nearly died. Many thought that between his daredevil lifestyle and his struggles with drugs and alcohol, plus bipolar disorder, that he would be dead.
After much research, the Dudes have discovered that Steve-O is in fact, alive. The actor is part of a special 10 part new show on YouTube Red called Ultimate Expedition. The show is born out of Steve-O, born Stephen Gilchrist Glover’s, love of action adventure sports, and desire to learn to mountain climb. Once in Peru, he found much more than he bargained for in a street dog, named Wendy.
Finding True Love
During his journey for the show, Steve O bought dog food and walked around town. The hope was to find a friend to join him on his adventure. He wasn’t having much luck until he met Wendy. What happens next is a heart-warming story that anyone can appreciate and enjoy.

He’s taking the big plunge and getting the snip snip. The actor was on his way to Puerto Rico of all places when the celebrity rag caught up with him. “We got Steve-O and his pooch, Wendy, at LAX about to board a flight to Puerto Rico where he’ll not only be helping with ongoing hurricane relief, but also spaying and neutering 1,000 dogs and cats.
